Alice joined Sanejo in March 2011 as a Communications Advisor and the Volunteer Program Manager. She studied Psychology (with minors in French and International Relations) at the University of Michigan in the US before returning to her native Holland to obtain her master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam. During her undergraduate studies, Alice had the opportunity to spend a semester at the University of Cape Town and travel through southern Africa. She worked in several social science research institutes in the US and her volunteer experience includes community development projects in Detroit, Cape Town and Kathmandu. Alice currently works as a trainer/consultant in the international public sector. Her main interests include post-conflict resolution and international development cooperation, particularly with regard to the African continent.
